September 11 2010 is a day that all Americans should take a moment to remember, thank and support. 9 years ago the landscape of America was changed forever. We owe it to ourselves to continue supporting the men, women and k9’s that are deployed all over the world to fight for our freedom.

Terrorist attacks can shake the foundations

of our biggest buildings, but they cannot

Pepper was telling me about September 11, 2001. She watched with Mom as a plane flew into the Pentagon and the Twin Towers fell.  So many dogs helped out at the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.

It was the largest deployment of search dogs in U.S. history and possibly the single greatest example of inter-species cooperation in the history of human disasters.  (http://dogsinthenews.com/stories/060911a.php)

Thank you dogs and your handlers that did all that sad work. Thank you to our men, women and dogs that are deployed in unsafe areas of the world….come home soon.
